Nikkie van de Ven (1980): student architecture at Technical University (Eindhoven)

Her study covers subjects like building design, city planning and water management. She is interested not only in the hardware of architecture, but also in the 'software' which is reflecting human feelings and activities in an environmental circumstance. Recently, she made a study-tour to China. Her hobbies are classic ballet and piano.

• Project “Dutch Trading House in Hirado”. Creating a miniature city with workshop group.
• Participating the Old Hirado City Planning research group of Kanagawa University.
• Exposition of her drawings and designs of Hirado city at various locations.
• lecture about cities and architectures in Holland.
• Receiving Shodô lessons (Japanese calligraphy).
